Cuyamaca Peak Weekend Adventure Itinerary

Saturday:
8:30 AM: Departure from San Diego.
Head out from the meeting spot for a 1-hour drive to Lake Cuyamaca.

9:30 AM: Arrive at Lake Cuyamaca.

Enjoy time on the lake, with options to rent boats, swim, or simply relax by the water.

12:00 PM: Lunch at the Lake.

Take a break for lunch and enjoy the lakeside views.

2:00 PM: Head to the Campsite.

Drive to the campground and set up camp for the night.

5:30 PM: Dinner & Campfire Activities.

Enjoy a hearty dinner, followed by campfire fun, s'mores, and relaxation under the stars.

Sunday:

8:00 AM: Breakfast at the Campsite.

Start the day with a full breakfast and coffee.

8:30 - 11:00 AM: Relax at the Campsite.

Enjoy some free time around the campsite.

11:00 AM: Lunch & Pack Up.

Have lunch and pack up the campsite, preparing for the hike.

12:00 PM: Hike to Cuyamaca Peak.

Begin the 3-hour round trip hike to Cuyamaca Peak, the second-highest peak in San Diego, offering spectacular views.

3:00 PM: End of Hike & Return to San Diego.

After the hike, start the journey back home.

5:00 - 6:00 PM: Arrive Back in San Diego.

Return to the original meeting spot, concluding the weekend adventure.
